Faith Partners Comprehensive Training: The Rock has the opportunity to bring in Faith Partners to host a FREE 2-day training to help our congregation develop a team ministry for alcohol/drug and mental health issues by building a system based on our congregation’s strengths and theology. This training is for everyone who wants their congregation to play its own important role in these issues. Check out their website  At this point, we are just gauging interest on whether to host the training. If you would be interested in attending this training, please email [email protected].

Great news! The Rock will now be hosting diaper drives for expecting families! Jackson and Shelbi Hackbart will be our first recipients. Baby Hackbart is due to arrive Oct 1 and we will be collecting diapers until Oct 8. Their preferred diaper brands are Pampers, Huggies, or Millie Moon. Newborn-size 3 would be great options. Please attach a gift receipt and feel free to attach a note of encouragement if you would like. You can leave your donations on the south side of the cafe.

Plan now to join us at 5pm on Saturday, October 14 on the lawn at The Rock for our second Taste & See community event. Bring your friends for food, music, and family fun. More details to come!

October is church worker appreciation month! All church workers need prayer. Pray for them and their families and let them know you are doing so. Also please pray to the Lord of the harvest for those future church workers whom God will raise up to fill these sacred and joyful roles in His Kingdom.

Whether they serve as a pastor, director of Christian Education (DCE), deaconess, music director or educator, each and every church worker helps proclaim the Good News! Think about all of the workers who have served you and your family over the years and consider reaching out to them to thank them for their dedication.
