Happening at The Rock – September 19, 2023

Join us for a special time of prayer on Sunday, October 8, praying for the call process, our future pastor, and The Rock during the vacancy period. We’ll gather in room 211 (near the stairs) from 9:15-9:50. All are welcome!

If you have questions about the call process, you can ask Ross Briggs, Lori Bruns, Emma Dannehl, Jake Eckles, Marcus Gubanyi, Tim Moll, Matt Myers, Brenda Rief, Andrea Sloup, and our circuit visitor, Rev. David Palomaki. Please pray for them and for our vacancy pastor, Rev. David Loeschen.

Great news! The Rock will now be hosting diaper drives for expecting families! Jackson and Shelbi Hackbart will be our first recipients. Baby Hackbart is due to arrive Oct 1 and we will be collecting diapers until Oct 8. Their preferred diaper brands are Pampers, Huggies, or Millie Moon. Newborn-size 3 would be great options. Please attach a gift receipt and feel free to attach a note of encouragement if you would like. You can leave your donations on the south side of the cafe.

Plan now to join us at 5pm on Saturday, October 14 on the lawn at The Rock for our second Taste & See community event. Bring your friends for food, music, and family fun. More details to come!

A young adults group is meeting on Monday evenings at 7 p.m. at Brevin and Michaela Sloup’s house! (1616 Eastridge Ave) Contact them for more information.

Use your gifts at The Rock! God has blessed every individual with unique gifts, skills and talents. We’d love to have you use your gifts in service at The Rock! As a bonus, helping out at The Rock will also give you the opportunity to connect with some great people, find a sense of belonging and experience the joy of being used by God! Please fill out the form ON OUR WEBSITE if you are interested in serving.
