Please pray for the Guatemala Mission Team as they depart tomorrow! Here is a handy guide to help in praying for the team each day of their trip.
Thursday, June 25 – Travel & Arrival
- Pray for safe travel and arrival in Guatemala.
- Health and strength to carry us through the week.
- Pray with thanksgiving for Dr. Elry and Liz, the translators, and everyone helping plan, and organize this trip as we prepare for the week ahead.
Friday, June 26 – Preparation & Team Bonding
- Pray for preparation and unity as a team.
- Pray that God places it on the hearts of the children, teens, and women to join us this week.
Saturday, June 27 – VBS Begins
- Pray for the children attending VBS.
- Pray that God makes an impact in their lives and brings them back throughout the week.
Sunday, June 28 – Teen Ministry
- Pray for the teen ministry.
- For true and meaningful connection with the teens.
- Pray for deeper team bonding and stronger relationships within our group.
Monday, June 29 – Women’s Ministry & Endurance
- Pray for the women’s ministry.
- Pray for endurance, energy, and joy to finish strong.
- Pray for our families back home and for peace during the separation.
Tuesday, June 30 – Final Day of VBS & Ministries
- Pray for our final day of VBS and ministry.
- Pray for lasting relationships with this community through Christ.
- Pray that the seeds planted this week continue to grow after we leave.
Wednesday, July 1 – Goodbyes & Thanksgiving
- Pray for comfort as we say our goodbyes.
- Pray with thanksgiving for a week of serving Christ.
- Pray for safe travel tomorrow.
Thursday, July 2 – Return Home
- Pray for safe travels as we return home.
- Pray with thanksgiving for Dr. Elry and Liz, the translators, and everyone who helped us out.
- Pray for peace as we return to the United States and process any post-trip sadness, culture shock, or adjustment.
